Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

LD30s or the other code... in the place order for first time sign in. Then the email u used type in the first blank then a password page will appear

I was able to figure out the certified background but I did laugh a little when ----- said it was really user friendly at orientation. I thought the exact opposite!

Has anyone done a DO?

It took me a minute to figure it out. The chat support icon in the top right corner are very helpful! I'm so anxious to change my alternate status to 100% accepted!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!! Oh and I believe I open the shared documents correctly I'll have to double check with chat support. :) Hope everyone is getting everything done! I go for finger printing tomorrow! :) TODAY I get my first FLU shot ( I'm thinking in my head please don't let me get the flu, please don't let me get the flu) .

Luckily they use a killed virus so you should be fine!

True, however I have gotten sick 3/3 times 1-2 days after my flu shot. I'd call that more than a coincidence!

I did a DO about 6 months before applying just to be on the safe side of things, and just received an email yesterday from ---- stating that since I did so I do not have to do a background check. A blue card should be coming.

When I was an alternate in the Woodlands they emphasized doing the DO ASAP. It can take a while.

Ok! Thank you guys. I wasn't sure if I needed to do one, I'm hoping it's not too late. Id rather be on the safe side and be upfront with them, though.

I didn't need one but the director of the woodlands pretty much had everyone scared into doing one. She named off many scenarios where something would come up. I would err on the side of caution.

Im confused, why would someone need a DO? What kind of examples?

All due respect, but what the hell is a DO?
