Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

The titer at Your health Lab is only 19.00 for Varicella. You don't have to have doctor's orders or an appointment. I love this place. I have my yearly blood draw there and bring it with me to the doc.

Thanks! And jennjenn0205 thank you as well! What's the name of the place? I only need one booster bc I had the shot as a kid :D thank The Lord my mom kept all my shot records! It helped me out a lot.

I thought you meant the meningitis vaccine...sorry....That one is pretty expensive at some places ,,,HEB wanted 165 or something around those lines....If found a place that will titers for 25 bucks and your physical for 30...tb test for 15 bucks....It is the clinic that was listed on the handout where she also has a place to call for a cpr course. It is located at 610 Rayford rd. and they take walk ins

All this talk is kind of rallies up excitement for JANUARY 2014!!! Even though I'm an alternate I'm still excited!! I have two more things left on the 17requirements to do list... The flu shot that I do on Monday and fingering printing on TUESDAY! That was a lot of scanning to do. I'll tell ya!! :) :)

The express clinic off of 610 Rayford Road

(281-742-0624) has the meningitis for $60 and varicella is $25 I believe, but they won't have the vaccines until October 18th.

Good Luck to you too.. I too am an alternate, and only have my fingerprinting to go and I will go on Wednesday. Scanning everything and taking care of the to-do list has kept my mind busy. Now I will do my best not to go crazy waiting to hear something.
