Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54
Gayla who did you speak to? When I emailed ------ about what spot I was she said that they were not able to give out that information I know someone with a 11.06 that also got an alternate spot just to give us some type of idea of how many people there are. I wonder how many people they accept with alternates. Also instead of emailing should I be calling?!

I was turning in my intent form and talk to her personally. I wish I new more specific informtion, but she was vague.... =(
I wish I ask how many applicants were alternate status... Did u apply to both campuses? I did and will be going to the orientation for Kingwood on the 8th of October. I really want cyfair, because it is a closer drive. Either way Amberly get all ur stuff done and turn in ur form and be prepared!!! If not this time u and I are sure to get into North harris.
Also if I am a CNA what does that exclude me from doing??
Im not sure if that applies to cyfair, because im not sure if they do clinicals the first semester... but if u get ur CNA it can get u hired on somewhere to build connections and u can wk full time during summers. Thats what I'll be doing come January if I don't make it this time around.
Cool! I was debating on going to Kingwood bc I am an alternate there as well, but its to far of a drive for me. I'm just doing Cy-fair orientation for now, I think lol. I hope I'm not making a mistake!
You would only do it 2 times a week for classes... u might think about it or atleast go to the orientation. =)
