Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Did anyone read for tomorrow?

Dam Echo I wish you would've posted that earlier. Oh well good thing I ironed mine on it'll fall off eventually.

The patches are merely a CYA for the school and the clinical sites we'll eventually be in; easy to ID a student since no one else wears patches on their scrubs.

In the lab, it's obvious we're all students and thus don't really 'need' said patches and since we only wear our black scrubs in the clinicals, it makes no sense to sew/iron them onto regular color scrubs that we'll never wear into the clinical sites as students.

Did anyone read for tomorrow?

No on the reading, unfortunately, my books don't get delivered until tomorrow, Amazon is dicking the dog in regards to shipping. Tomorrow is primarily going to be Welcome, here's the syllabus, lets all introduce ourselves, sing kumbaya, and explain the rules, requirements, expectations, etc.

Yeah, other schools scrubs are embroidered of some sort so I figured I'd do the same. Oh well. If you shop on Amazon a lot you should consider Amazon Prime. Can't beat two day shipping

I am an Amazon Prime member, book ended up getting misrouted. Amazon has already compensated. C'est la vie.

Going through the information now. I find it weird that I was registered for Thursday clinical but it says im in a Friday clinical according to the roster.

Hey are any kingwood ppl on campus with the book we need to complete the assignment for lab tomorrow? I don't have my books yet abd would like the copy the pages we need. Any help will be appreciated!
