Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Hello everyone, I just called the book store, and I was told that the Prepu is included in the Cd that says Course point Brunner & Suddarth's Medical Surgical Nursing.

Thank You God!!! Do we wear whatever to tomorrow's meeting?

did you guys have the interactive case studies for Brunner & Suddarth's Texbook in the box???

Kim. Are you sure. I know that the med surge has prepu but the nclex RN is separate. I was told this morning that they should be getting them this week.

That's what the lady told me, but I don't know. She also said that she has a list of books that are supposed to be in the box, and the only thing missing is the interactive case studies.

I just called the book store and basically was told that prepu should be on the disc but she had no knowledge of nclex RN prep u. She said that it will be brought up tomorrow because apparently the lady that came to the school is not responding.

I'm so confused about the whole book deal. I couldn't find the prepu deal in my book box either. I emailed the book rep lady that was at orientation and she never responded. Which in turn has me losing faith in her credibility. She clearly said "do not hesitate to email me as I always respond. It might be three in the morning but I will respond." Blah, blah, blah...nothing but lies. I hope they clear it up at the meeting tomorrow. As for attire, I'm planning on wearing jeans. I figured if they wanted us in scrubs they would have said something.

Tlm it took her a month to respond to my first message to her. Then I emailed her about the prepu and she said that we will get the info from the school at a later date and a discount. I was livid. I emailed her back and told her that the list said it was to be in the package and have not heard back from her.

And that was on last Sat. . I know she read it. I also emailed the nursing dept. and have not gotten a response.
