Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Ok now I'm a little worried. I received an email stating my appeal was approved. Saturday I received an email stating that I need to submit advisors report. Sunday I wake up to an email stating they dropped all classes because I had not paid. Argh.........stressing. Headed up there in the morning and praying.
How long did it take them to approve your appeal? And I got that same call but my classes were still there since I have financial aid on my account.

I am waiting to receive FA money through my bank account but nothing yet. I am getting anxious. I need it to buy everything .... The classes are going to start soon and I am not ready. :nailbiting:

They disburse scholarships and grants first, loans are given out last.

I thought you just went to the bookstore and let them know that you're doing an advance? I've never done one of those so I'm not too sure about the process lol. I know you fill out something for it but I didn't think it took long to process.

Praise God!! I got the call today, there is a spot for me at Kingwood. I am soooo excited and on pins and needles waiting for VA to message me the info. I look forward to meeting all of you that are going to Kingwood.

I am. I like having the book in front of me. I feel that I space out when I do etext lol. At this point I'm waiting in my appeal decision to see if ill even have the money to get books :/
