Lonestar nursing applicants for spring 2016

Published

Hi guys! I will be applying for lonestar cyfair and a few others in the spring of 2016. I was wondering if anyone had started studying for the hesi and also what grades have they gotten so far in their classes!

Was cyfair your first choice?

No. Kingwood was. I live near the woodlands so cyfair is far

Well that's great congrats! Ugh I'm so nervous

Oh wow your ss verification is done already??? That's fast! But I'm confused why would it need to be upload to the certified profile website??? You're not doing hep-b?

Hi guys. Just wanted to give you guys an update that I received my titers back and I'm good! I highly recommend redi clinic on spring cypress! I did my blood work on Tuesday afternoon and received my lab report back just now when I went in for my TB follow up ! Ask for Joe! I forgot the price I quoted includes the TB shot.

A quick update, I checked with Kingwood, they accept the fast track Hep-b . There is hope! And one more thing, I went to my PCP for a physical and also get all my titers done for 35$ (this is my deductible) If you have not yet done your annual physical this year , go ahead do it and ask your doctor order the titers for you while they do the blood test. Good luck everyone !

Where do you get a fast track hep b and how long does it take bc my dr office made me feel like I was crazy when I said that. Help!!

I still need to find out where I can get the fast track Hep-b. I checked CVS, Wallsgreen, they don't have it. I am still looking.

Hey y'all! I am so excited to learn How to be nurses with y'all! See you in October!!!!

Hey y'all! I am so excited to learn How to be nurses with y'all! See you in October!!!!

Im sorry but what's in October?? I didn't get an email to anything pertaining in October??? I'm lost! Help !!

kingwood orientation is October 8 I think

oh okay. thank you. i wonder why cyfair doesn't have orientation? unless its the mandatory boot camp which is a week before class ....

Does Kingwood require the titers? I'm reading the attachment they sent us and to my understanding it's either or but I just want to make sure.
