Lonestar nursing applicants for spring 2016

Hi guys! I will be applying for lonestar cyfair and a few others in the spring of 2016. I was wondering if anyone had started studying for the hesi and also what grades have they gotten so far in their classes!

Does Kingwood require the titers? I'm reading the attachment they sent us and to my understanding it's either or but I just want to make sure.

I was having the same question since the first day I got the acceptance letter ! The department told me face to face, I need BOTH! But I checked on certified background, Either one ! So now I am just going to post one of them ! And wait until orientation to see what everybody else is doing ...

the informational meeting is for people who haven't applied and want more info about the program. orientation is for those already accepted

if you have any criminal history you have to do a declaratory order petition. you go on the BON website print the petition and send it in. they will prompt you to go a head with fingerprinting after they receive it...that's my understanding of it.

You have to do the fingerprint thing to get the blue card, is it right? I think that if you back ground check is clear, you will receive a blue card by mail?

Have anyone been able to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting?

I was doing it online, but can't processed for some reasons. It said can't find my record... I am so confused now. Anybody has same problem ?

That didn't happen to me. I was able to schedule an appointment. Could it be that your address isn't the same as it is on your drivers license?

I don't think you can until Lonestar adds us to the Morpho's list. That's why I think we have to wait for the email from the director in regards to the fingerprinting. Unless you do the Declaratory Order which will automatically add you after 10-15 days from receiving your DO. That's my understanding of it.
