Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.
I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!
I wonder when CyFair will let everyone know of acceptance. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted. I have been following these boards for awhile now and I love the fact that everyone is so supportive of each other. We are all in this together and that makes me a little bit more sane... a little bit.
HI everyone, I have been following this post for about a week now, I applied to the ADN score of 9.7 (not all of my pre req courses are finished, working on AP2 and micro right now) Any who, just found out I was accepted as an alternate. I didn't expect to get in at all this year with such a low score. I wonder where on the alternate lis I am? do any of you know how likly it is alternates will get a spot? how long into the program can you still go in as an alternate?
Hey guys, congrats to everyone. I am so happy to hear everyones good news :) And the ones that are waiting, keep your faith it will happen. I am an Alternate to the LVN-Montgomery, cant wait to get a call from the nursing office. I am 13 on the alternate list, i am so close. I can feel it, from hearing everyones good news.
