Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

how did u find out where you rank on the alternate list?

Coco what campus? You have to call and ask. Hang in there Baandrew!!! Did you call recently and ask what number you were on alternate list? I gave up my spot today.

At first when all the notification came out for the LVN program I was told I was 20 on the list, now I am 13... Just by all the good news you guys got it looks like I might have a chance to get in to the LVN- Montgomery after all. So far I have estimated a least 7 of you guys giving up spots to the LVN program, not really sure exactly which campus. It does look good though J

So since I am an alternate for both the lvn and RN does anyone know if I have to order both of the packages from certified background for both programs or just one will do for both ?

Great thank you ! I know this is going to sound stupid but it told me to print out pages 2 and 3 for the social security verification but only 2 print did this happen to anyone else or am I just really being slow lol

We also just do the 35 dollar CPR correct not the heartsaver one ?
