Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

Ken ken I thought you would of gotten into montgomery with your score....congrats!!!!!! Does anyone know when the program starts exactly?

I am accepted into NORTH HARRIS!!!!!!!! Yay!! So excited to meet all of you!!

Yazi u go and get fingerprinted and they will mail you a blue card once you are clear. There's a fingerprint place in Conroe. Nursing admissions will send you a link to a website and just type your zip code in to make an appt with the closest place near you.

Redhen, I was'nt so sure about Montgomery and was totally prepared for North Harris. Montgomery is hard to get into. They take the highest of scores and I know there are a lot of people that apply there. I am perfectly happy with going to North Harris!

Hi Sparkles! Could you please update my score to 6.44 for LVN Program @ Kingwood :)

I just turned in all my paperwork and I'm having to wait 2 months to hear anything! That's gonna kill me! Maybe I could just go hibernate for the remaining time? LOL

I got accepted into north Harris!!! I can't wait to meet everyone after all this waiting! What orientation are y'all going to? I say the May 15th one so I can get all the info sooner!
