Lone Star Tomball, LVN 2012 Hopefuls

Anyone out there applying to Lone Star Tomball LVN program? Any advice from past or present students?

I will be applying in late August/1st week of September and would love to chat with other hopefuls. :)

Not for me, the letter stated I can apply for Kingwood, Mont, cyfair, and tomball... on certain dates.

Sorry Anonkah. Just view it as a door that closed because your suppose to go through another one. You will be to your goal, just maybe a different way.

Getting tired of the doors lol It's all good. Gonna take a more serious look at some of the other programs around here.

I have not received anything yet. I am giving up, maybe now I will get the denial letter I have been anxiously waiting for.

I received my denial letter today. I found a program that has an open application period right now. Not sure when the program starts but here is a link.

Anyone who attends Tomball ADN program or attended in the past please let me know how the first couple of weeks of the program start. Do you have to be there all day every day until clinicals start? I am accepted into Tomball and North Harris but I think I will not be able to attend at North Harris because you must be in class M-F 8-5 the first three weeks. I cannot do this because of work and lack of childcare. Is Tomball this way also?

How did you get accepted to both the Tomball and North Harris campus?

The program at Tomball meets either 8-12 or 12:30-4:30 M-Th for a total of 8 meetings either beginning July 23 or August 6. It is not all day during the summer semester. During the fall semester the schedule is hard to explain, but you can search the schedule in mylonestar, it is already posted under the class search.

How did you get accepted to both the Tomball and North Harris campus?

I am accepted at North Harris and alternate at Tomball actually. Just received both of my letters last week.
