Anyone out there applying to Lone Star Tomball LVN program? Any advice from past or present students?
I will be applying in late August/1st week of September and would love to chat with other hopefuls. :)
I think the only way to be sure of the schedule is to attend the orientation at Tomball. When I submitted my letter of intent to Tomball I asked about the schedule because I am wanting to also enroll in a core class during that time. I was not told I couldn't enroll in either an afternoon or morning class, but that I would receive my schedule at orientation for either morning or afternoon.
How hard is it for an ADN graduate of Lonestar to find a job? I have been looking at job postings and most prefer or want BSNs and 1-2 yrs acute care experience. Just wondering if anyone is worried about finding work after graduation. If it's hard for BSN's to get a job then ADN's don't stand a chance. I really want to be an RN and have tried getting into three different BSN programs without any luck. Now that I have been accepted into Lonestar's ADN program all I think about is spending two years working hard in school and not getting a job.

On my acceptamce letter for North Harris it says to be available M-F 8-5 for the first three weeks of the program. THen we will follow our regular class schedule after that. I was wondering if Tomball had this same requirement since it did not mention anything about this in the letter I received from them.
