Lone Star Spring 2020 ADN

From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.

The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.

I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?

If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

Does anyone know when we find out our schedules for spring? Or if yall know anyone who started this semester when did they get their schedules? Was it when registration opened for Spring? I know they make our schedules for us I was just wondering if it will be next month when registration opens.

Heard schedules are in December.
Textbook listing will be sent in the next 2 weeks or so.

When is your orientation?

I say December because I on another forum that’s what happened I’m hoping for earlier

I’m sure at orientation they will give us a schedule but won’t confirm until December. For Kingwood we should have lectures Mondays and Tuesdays.

Orientation for Cyfair isn’t until January 7 lol so I hope we find out before then cuz that’s 6 days before classes start lol

Wow. That’s close. Kingwood has orientation October 28th and January 10th.

I’m confused , is there a difference in the blue badge for background and blue card ? My badge keeps getting rejected . I only received a blue badge in the mail

I got an actual blue card in the mail and I uploaded that and it was automatically accepted.

I would contact the program director or coordinator and let them know what your issue is.

It's the blue postcard from TBON that you need to upload.

Those that didn't get accepted, don't give up! I was in your spot two times before I finally made it. Keep taking your pre recs until you get an A. Research profs. Take the same class with same prof if you can handle them again since you know how they test and what their expectations are. Take the Hesi again and again. You have plenty of time! Join the "Online HESI A2 Study Group" on fb and use all their files to study! Its what helped me improve my score. Don't give up!
