From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

Is CyFair that difficult? Do you have any tips? I'm starting there in August & I'm extremely nervous but excited!
Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and also applying for the Spring 2020 class. I do have a question about transfer credits. Has anyone had to get courses taken elsewhere uploaded to their application and if so, how? I contacted the nursing department but currently getting the run-arounds. It’s the only thing I have left to do, the submit button isn’t even showing on my application and I believe it’s due to this. Thanks in advance!

All you need for the application is your high school transcript and advising one that is on your mylonestar.edu

I think you should still apply! You still have a chance of getting in. And a high chance of getting an alternate spot! This is my third time applying and I finally have a competitive score. 7.3 is a great score. I wouldn’t count yourself out just yet.
