It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

I took it as a hybrid in Jan 2018 and applied a few days after grades posted. It will require hard work but it's doable. I decided December of 2017 to pursue nursing. Began Eng & API in Jan as concurrent 8-wk courses. Submitted my final papers, took my API final, and HESI all in one week - but I made the deadline. Lord willing I will graduate in May. FWIW, nursing was my first time in a 16-week format and I felt like taking all of my courses in mini-formats (API, APII, ENG, Micro, Pharm) helped prepare me for the nursing workload.

I totally forgot about mini mester courses. I wasn’t sure if A&P was offered for mini-mesters. What campus are you at? Are you enjoying it?

I am at Montgomery. "Enjoying" the immense personal growth and achievements reached, yes. I will say that I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this program and have wonderful classmates. I'm really proud of our class.

Titers are good for 3 years. I got mine done for the last application period so I’m not getting them redone. I don’t want to get ahead of myself but I almost want to get all of the titers we need done and over with in case I get accepted. I know things get chaotic once applicants are accepted so it would take a load off.

Same I could’ve applied for spring but I was waiting for the results to come back. Which came a couple of days after the application closed ?.... Yes if anything I’m ready for May !! I’m ready to get my acceptance letter. What are your top 3 choices. I’m doing M. T. NH . I’ll be okay with either Montgomery or tomball

You and me both. I’m closest to Montgomery so I’ll definitely apply but I’m not sure if I’m putting Tomball or Montgomery as my first choice. I’ll be so grateful if I get into any campus!

Same. I’m closer to Montgomery. I live in Conroe so I’ll take my chances by putting Montgomery first since it’s closer and I’m sure the clinicals will be close by. Tomball as my second choice . I’ll be grateful too either campus.

Right because looking back at previous blogs and comments especially last year everyone was commenting on this, and FB. I wonder that too. If it will be less competitive
