It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

Maybe I’m wrong but I thought only the nursing director can take out applications and allow to resubmit? I would only take the directors advice since things can get misinterpreted through the grapevine. If admissions can do that then I’ll go through them otherwise I might just email the director.

At the same time like other people are saying, you never know how flooded or not the application pool will be, or who will back out of an offer because of the situation in the fall. All we can do is try.
I was really disheartened earlier this semester until I learned I would be able to retake English. But I was prepared to try my luck anyway with my 7.4 and hope to just get in somewhere and then transfer to Montgomery for the 2nd semester.
Still wish everyone the best of luck. It's crazy that this is the process for getting into a community college.
Did you check to see if you can transfer to another campus?

Yes. That was my original plan until I learned I could retake English this May and then resubmit my application. The counselor at the nursing info session at Montgomery has been the person I have been communicating with through all of this and confirmed both that transferring was a possibility after the 1st semester, and also that I can resubmit my application once I have my new English grade.
I completely disagree with giving those who were not able to apply this round a chance just due to covid. It’s creating a disadvantage for those of us who already did it the right way and prepared for this application period. The only people who should receive an extension is those who already had the HESI scheduled. Let’s be real- if you didn’t have it scheduled then you weren’t going to be able to take it with how much time was left from when we should have returned from Spring break! I think we should flood the departments with emails expressing our concern with how unfair it is to literally punish those of us who did it the right way, just so those who would have had to wait can now LITERALLY take spots away from us. I’m ready to make an uproar and If you want to see a change then I encourage you all to do the same.

I hear your frustration but that’s not going to change anything. They are doing what they think is necessarily fair to all students.
This is a really stupid question.. but I need to ask anyway just to make sure LOL
redoing my hep b titer in mid June since I finally finished the fast track immunizations. Applications for Spring opens June 2nd. If I turn in my application mid/end of June, it doesn’t matter about when you turn it in, as long as it’s before the deadline?
I keep thinking that they review over applications based on how soon they were submitted which I know is NOT the case - but I just need confirmation ?

You can do it! Good luck!!
