Hey everyone... who all is applying for next fall? Have you taken your HESI yet? What is your score going in? I still have to take my HESI but have an A in A/P 1 and am taking A/P 2 and Microbiology this fall. Also how did you study for the HESI??

Easy? Hard? I’m finishing up AP 2 & Med Micro this semester and I’m struggling to stay focused ?

It’s pretty hard but nearing the end ?. I’m taking psych too - that’s easy and I really like the professor. I’ll retake English this Summer and maybe medical Microbiology but if I don’t get in I’ll tale Microbiology in the fall. If I can get an A in English my score goes up to 7.8 so I think I’d be able to get into Kingwood.

Girl if you get a 7.8 they’ll roll out the red carpet at Montgomery for you LOL ?

I just can’t wait another year.

Hey everyone I have a questions is it true that I have to have all my Hep B titers before I can apply? or do they let you finish them while waiting or in the program?

Before you’re officially accepted you have to have them

Other then that just the hep B to apply

Oh okay Thank you so much. So if accepted and start program just have all shots  it completed before the start. one of my co-workers was telling me should was not able to do the program because it has one shot then 3 months later then 6 months later so she has to wait a whole year I was like wow really.

You need the hep b titer in the application for it to be complete, the other shots you will need to do before starting the semester

There is a 2-shot HEP-B vaccine that CDC recommends that can be given 30 days apart.  My doctor recommended it and I called the nursing program to make sure they would accept it and she said as long as its Heplisav-B, it was fine.  I was fully immune in less than 2 months.
