Hey everyone... who all is applying for next fall? Have you taken your HESI yet? What is your score going in? I still have to take my HESI but have an A in A/P 1 and am taking A/P 2 and Microbiology this fall. Also how did you study for the HESI??

Is it really only 40 people accepted per campus? Now I'm stressing because my score is 7.648 and I feel like that's cutting it close now.... Last fall a 7.5ish was good enough to get people into their last choice, which seemed to be NH. Now I hope that the minimum score doesn't go up much more. I wonder how many people are applying this fall.

Hey guys! Does anyone know if I would be able to take a pharmacology class in the Summer that ends on August 22nd? Or is that cutting it too close and I should take the 6 week session?

What do you mean by cutting it close? I’m pretty sure the Summer courses officially end before the fall courses begin. Even with minis I don’t think there is any overlap.

Yea this ^^^ I’m taking Pharm 2nd Summer session too and I’m not worried. They won’t start fall before ending Summer session II you should be good.

Oh OK yea that makes sense. I just thought that the program started in August and the Pharm class finishes so late in August that I thought it may be an issue. Thank you so much!!

Sorry for so many questions but also I was wondering as far as the HESI is concerned if the HESI deadline is April 9th then what is the latest I can take the HESI?

I don’t know this is 100% correct, but I’ve heard 31 March is the last day.

Technically the 9th would be the deadline but for God’s sake do not wait until then. There are soooo many taking and re-taking that exam right now, there’s no telling how long it would actually take LSCS to get and apply your scores to your application. Take it as soon as possible if you can. Do not wait! There were also technical difficulties this last weekend which prohibited some from taking it and had to reschedule for this week. Don’t get caught in that. Schedule this week if you can and then NurseHub crash course for the days you have left. You can do it.

I believe that’s the last day you can take the exam to give it time to send to the school. I took mine back in December, so I really have no idea.

April 9th is the last day . So many people had it confused because they couldn’t set their date after the 31st because they tried to set it two months in advance
