I applied to Lone Star - ADN program Spring 2012. I was accepted as an alternate. I am hoping to get a call from the nursing department saying there is a spot for me. If not I will be reapplying for the next application period for entrance to the program in the Fall 2012. Good luck everyone!!!!
And once my stat class is over I really need to get my Pre-reading done. We have class from 9-5 for the first two weeks and then our test is I've the first thirty chapters. I KNOW I don't want be doing all that reading then!
Our first test is over the first 30 chapters??! Oh, lord...I AM going to fail, lol!

Yes! That's why we're supposed to have it read before class starts. With the long class days until we start following our real schedule, plus quizzes and homework, they flat out told us we will not have time to read all of the chapters in time. I'm finishing statistics next week and then I guess I have one whole week to get it done!
And yeah...first test is going to be a doozy!
I'm excited as well, but its starting to turn into fear and anxiety. I pray that I'm really ready for this adventure. I read the chapters, but I don't think I learned what I'm suppose to, but we shall see soon enough.
I feel ya there. It's nerve wracking! But ready or not, here we come!
And you're not alone at all...you have 39 people on the adventure with you :)

At Tomball we had rnsg 1105, I think your class is rnsg 1172. I dont know what the difference is but pay attention to the skills. Relax and be confident, and use common sense.
