We were out for 3-4 weeks after Spring break while they got their crap together. LSC extended the semester by 2 weeks, so instead of the 8th we finish on the 22nd. The governor and the BON relaxed some of the regulations on clinical requirements so that we were able to complete the rest online. Typically that wouldn't be allowed. You're only supposed to have so many clinical hours in simulation or online.
As for graduation/pinning.. its indefinitely postponed. They sent out a survey asking if we would rather have an online pinning or wait and maybe have a delayed trafitional pinning. The overwhelming response was that an online pinning would be a joke and completely pointless.

I agree. This waiting game slowly killing me but I have no other choice ?
Do you guy working now? How is your schedule hours and specialty area ?
I graduated last year as paramedic. I’m working as 911 responder now. My schedule is the same as Pre-COVID19. I work 24 hrs then 72 hrs off; and schedule rotate different every week.

I feel the same way. I don’t have much of choice, so I guess this period of time is teaching us a certain level of patience LOL.
My work schedule is fairly stable and my supervisor is willing to work around my school schedule. I work twelve hour shifts 3 days/week, so I’ll be staying full-time for the duration of school (if I get accepted). I’m sure you’ll be able - if you wanted to - to still work that same type of schedule OMG the program started.
