Okay for all of us that are waiting, this is our official I'm waiting , checking the mail daily :imbar, going crazy
, biting my nails
, at the edge of my seat
, can hardly concentrate on anything else :typing, Kingwood and Cyfair Spring 2009 awaiting thread:yeah:We still have a while to go before letters are going to be sent out but let's keep each other encouraged and cross our fingers for everyone that applies!
So who's with me? What are your points and where did you apply- Kingwood or Cyfair?
Good luck future nurses
K guys..just got back from dinner and i received my letter today...I'm an alternate!! It's kinda bitterweet lol..it's definitely not a no, to me, it's an almost yes so I will just be patient and hope to get a call from them soon! I applied to cyfair as first choice, and kingwood second...I'm an alternate at cyfair and my points were an 11.34soemthing..congrats to all who got in!
but here's my dilemma, I'm taking a and p over again because I have a B..ya know just in case I didn't get in I would make an a this time, and have super high points for the fall..well I'm almost in, hopefully lol, and I really want to drop the class so I can pick up more hours at work..even if I don't get in as an alternate this semester, I really think I will get in in the fall with my b in a and p...so should I drop or stay in?? Thanks!

I would believe that you have a good chance of getting in for the Spring. I have saw almost all if not all the alternates get in at Lone Star from this board. :rolleyes:Congrats on getting your letter girlie, you are almost there!
YEP! Went out and had lots of Mexican food. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I was a little disappointed not to get into Kingwood. However, the brief moment of insanity disappeared and I realized, "HEY DUMMY! YOU GOT IN!!"I hope everyone gets their letters soon. Does anyone know anything about the schedule at Cy-Fair?
Smilbig-
This was posted by Stacy (smpbyram) She has been extremely helpful in answering questions for everyone. I believe this was her first semester at Cy-fair when she posted this. I also said that Cy-fair wears black bottoms but they are navy bottoms and orange tops with navy trim. Here's what she posted. HTH :heartbeat
at cy fair it is Nursing Skills on M & W from 8.30-11.30, Health Assessment from 8.30-11.30 on Tuesdays. Intro to nursing from 9-11 on Fridays and Legal and Ethical for four weeks online. This summer we will have clinicals on M & T (8 hours each day) and class on Wed & Thurs from 9-12.
STILL NOTHING...
But hopefully no news is good news!
I don't even want to check the mail anymore..it feels like its never going to come
Hopefully we will know by Monday at the latest!!
I know, I am seriously bummed but hoping that no news is good news. It just sucks though, I want to know and am getting bad headaches almost everyday thinking about it too much I need to stop it...
This is just dragging on. I just want to get something in my hand so I can focus on other things. So, the Kingwood uniforms are white tops with teal bottoms. Not alot of color. Does Kingwood have school colors?
Not that I know of. I can't even focus on the other classes I am taking truthfully or anything else for that matter. I wonder if the shoes have to be closed back, I had been researching the uniform too.

I was trying to go back and find it but I think they have class two or four days a week from 8-12 and clinicals twice a week. I'm still looking for the thread.
