Okay for all of us that are waiting, this is our official I'm waiting :no:, checking the mail daily :imbar, going crazy :banghead:, biting my nails :D, at the edge of my seat :coollook:, can hardly concentrate on anything else :typing, Kingwood and Cyfair Spring 2009 awaiting thread:yeah:We still have a while to go before letters are going to be sent out but let's keep each other encouraged and cross our fingers for everyone that applies! :up:

I think the night classes start at 5PM... just wanted to put that out there, I don't know what your timeline may be.. I hope that whatever happens it works in your favor to attend school and work! :mad:

Oh the night classes start at 5? No i haven't heard anything either about the background check/ fingerprinting...

Yep, Pink that's what the intent says. It says the classes are from 5-8PM and lab days from 7-9 or 8-10. :mad:

I hadn't checked in a while, but saw the stethoscope "conversation" and wanted to pass along that my mom (a Kingwood grad!) found that when she bought one in an obnoxious color (currently she has an orange Littman and has kept it for years) it didn't grow legs and walk off. You can find them in tons of colors - especially on Ebay for $60 or so. Just a thought. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. HEy, I just figured out that an orange one will actually match my uniform if I end up at Cy-Fair! :rolleyes:

Guess what guys?? They called me and I'm in nursing school! I seriously can not believe it lol! I cried like a baby! Ha, they're having orientation tomorrow from 830 to 3! I'm scheduled to work but I'ma try to get someone to take my shift! I really, honestly did not beleive I would get in and I am on cloud nine! I have worked so hard for this, as we all have and now I get to celebrate with you all! I think I must've been high up on the alternate list because they said i have until 2 weeks after the semester starts to hear from them, and I heard from them pretty quickly! anyways, congrats to us all and who all do I get to meet? lol..who else got accepte into cyfair??

I hope it's not as scary as some make it out to be lol...

has anyone heard anything about the background check..and were not suppose to go get fingerprinted until after we hear about the BGC right? I'm going to go get my shots signed off on and my physical on friday :) My scrubs came in today..and i've received 5/9 of my books! YAY :)
