Published

Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!

I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol

How about yall?!

My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!

And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!

Y'all I got accepted as an Alternate as well! I think I'm going to go ahead and continue with the process.

That's great. I knew you'd get in. Are you alternate in all the campuses?

Thank you!!

Yes, it's for all of the campuses. Hopefully a spot becomes available.

I didn't have to put any info in to pay...no registration or anything, it just said montogery and I paid. then nothing except a recipt in my email? when do i take the test? I'm nervous because im leaving on a couple vacations so i won't be around for a couple weeks if they just call and say you have to take ti. how do they contact you?

I don't think Cy Fair even has a drug test so I wouldn't be able to tell you. Someone tell me if I'm missing that because I didn't see anything!

I know the transition students did their drug testing at orientation last week (for montgomery). Maybe we will do it at orientation too? I'm not sure when, but if I were to guess I would say it will be at orientation.

Nope, cyfair do not do the drug testing until second semester since u do not go to clinical until then

I went to the site indicated and followed instructions and received the receipt in my e-mail. All you need is the receipt if I am not mistaken with the confirmation number they can tell that you paid for it; cause we will have to test later on and fill out a form with detailed info like name and student number before urine collection.

Has anyone received an email about Castle Branch yet or had any success in setting up an account with them? And has anyone received an email for the directions about the fast pass criminal records check?

Does anyone going to Cy Fair have Group Me? Communication is usually a little easier than Facebook. Also, Cy Fair, when it says they want a quantitative result for the titers, what does this mean? Has anyone else completed this?

Quantitative titer means instead of just saying positive/negative, the test shows the actual number mIU/mL. I got mine done through accesalabs.com. Just go to that website and look up the test you need, they will provide instructions and sample of the result.
