Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!
I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol

My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!
And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!
My question is for the alternates that have been selected to be in the program after orientation: Has anyone (alternates) been contacted by Surscan to take the random drug test yet? I signed up for it in early June and still haven't heard anything? My family and I are taking our annual family trip next week to New Orleans, and I am worried I will be called to take the test while I am out of town.
Also do they really have you come in for a random test before school starts, or is there a possibility they will do it sometime during the first 3 weeks of school on campus like they did at the nursing orientation for students that were originally accepted? My best friend will also be in Dallas from Malaysia the following week and its hard for me to get my "travel on" while knowing I can be tested at any min.
I was selected as an alternate after orientation. I did my drug test three weeks ago I got a random email from sure scan and it gave me about three days to get the drug test completed. You really might want to contact the nursing department the drug test is mandatory
