Lone Star College Fall 2016 hopefulls?

Published

Hey everyone I was starting a thread for all the fall 16 hopefuls for all the campus's at lonestar!

I take my hesi feb 18 and nervous doesn't even begin to describe my feelings!!!! Lol, I think I'll be okay on the math portion, it's the grammar and a&p that are causing my sleepless nights!!! Predicates, me or I, prepositional adjectives? Whaaat?? Lol and then a&p because there's soooo much and you have noooo clue what to focus on. I'm a bundle of nerves to say the very least lol

How about yall?!

My first choice is going to be kingwood, then maybe cyfair or north harris, I haven't decided yet, I want to get this test out of the way first!!

And can ya'll believe hcc closed their program down this year..... I was upset about that that was my first pick!

I am it doesnt hurt to go. Does anyone know if we will be refunded the $45 for the drug test if we dont get accepted?

No, you wont get a refund.

I'm an alternate too

I applied to Montgomery 1st choice. I received an alternate letter Congrats to all of you who got in !!!

I'm an alternate as well. Hopefully there's still a chance! Does anyone know for sure if it includes more than one location or just the campus you chose as your first choice??

Do we get one from each school? Montgomery was my last choice and that's where I got an alternate letter from

Nh was my first choice. Im wondering the same because last yr for Kinwood and cyfair the alternate letter gave the option to be considered for both schools. This letter doesnt.

Glad I found this thread! Congrats to you all! I got accepted as an alternate. Does any one know if Montgomery is the only campus that has sent out alternates?

I'm an alternate as well for Montgomery!!

do you guys have a primary care physician? I have insurance just no physician if that makes sense. should I find one to put in the paperwork?

Does anybody know if you accept the terms of an alternate position does that take your spot for other programs? I've applied for kingwoods LVN program too?? So I don't want to say yes to an alternate position and then won't be in the running for that program. Does anybody know??

Specializes in ER.

Dr. Carpenter at Humble Family Practice. Been seeing him for over 20 years (and I'm only 27). He's awesome and has a couple of really great PA's that work there as well, David Brumbaugh being my first choice if I can't see Doc. Two offices, both about 15 minutes from LSC Kingwood.
