2018 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls - Spring

Does anyone have any suggestions on practicing the a&p section? I have a ton of apps (purple pocket prep, quizlet, and a few more), elsiever evolve hesi study guide 4th ed, mcgraw-hill hesi study guide, and a few other things. Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions.

Good evening all! I'm wondering of your opinion of also applying for LVN program as well as ADN?? I'm weary... to say the least. I want to go straight into ADN, but I hate to be denied and have to wait to start any time of program. This Chic isnt getting any younger! ROFL!!!
All straightforward answers welcome.
Also anyone taking Microbiology this coming Fall??

I'm taking Micro this Fall at Kingwood with Dr. Makukutu. I took it for like 3 weeks last semester with him, but it proved too hard along with A&P 2, so I dropped.

Don't be discouraged HB187! I failed my first time, too. I used my notes and Pocket Prep primarily.

Hi there, I am super nervous, I applied with a 7.34, I only took the Hesi once and passed, I was scared to retake and fail, so I took my scores and ran with them.

Hello Everyone,
Has anyone taken pharmacology with Mary C. Jones at tomball. I'm taking her class online during the fall semester. Thank you.

Taking her now. Completely online= 6 weeks is tough everything is thrown at you at once. (obviously lol)

but i think for Fall it should be fine.. it'll give you more times to study, more tests as well to spread out new knowledge.

As far as professor Jones, shes suppeerrrrr nice... although online she seems brief and nonchalant.

Currently have a 86.5 i believe with one week left. So looks like i'll be finishing with a "B"

OOOhhh and no extra credit.. i was stupid and asked her lol. She said no RNSG (nursing) classes have extra credit...*period*

Does anybody know what the cut off score is for Lone Star- Cy Fair?

I dont think there is a cut off score to be exact.. i think they pull candidates from the top with the highest scores... then stop when they are full.

I went to an info session and the speaker was very adamant about no such thing as a "cut off score," so theres that lol

Also.. I hear the spring isn't as competitive.

it is usually at 7.0_7.2 for spring period cuz there are only two campuses open, but for the fall application I hear the cut off is around 6.9 since there are many campuses open

Turned in the application with a score of 7.52 an lonestar cyfair is my 1st choice. Now it's just a waiting game I'm so nervous.

Thank you. Do you take her test at the Tomball campus? Are the questions for the test scenario based? Thanks for the heads up on the no extra credit.

Hey Yall! I applied for Cyfair this spring. I have a 7.536. This waiting game is killing me!
