Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
Jumping right in at the last minute. I'm so nervous last year waitlisted people found out on the fourth I keep checking and thinking that news is good news. So nervous
Welcome!!!! I don't think we would find out this soon though. From what I read they have to go through all of the campuses before sending out anything. I think it would be quicker if each campus did their own but unfortunately thhats not how it happens. What were your campus choices?
I believe we should start hearing from them by the middle of the month. I was told they have a lot of applicants. So we cross finger and hopefully this ends soon.
Please if somebody has an idea about how many time do we really go to school that will be helpful. Hopefully I find some people willing to launch group study while in the program. I heard it is loaded and partnering is essential
Hi everyone, I commented on the other LSC 2017 ADN hopefuls page so I thought I might as well comment on this one too. I applied to the Montgomery campus with these stats:
Overall HESI: 98
Math: 100
A&P: 100
Vocabulary: 100
Reading: 92
Grammar: 96
CT: 830
Overall GPA: 3.87
Science GPA: 4.0
And for the overall score I have a 7.904. I feel alright about my scores and I really hope I'm accepted for the fall. I also made a last minute decision to take pharmacology this summer so I don't have to worry about it along with my other first-semester classes. Good luck to everyone!

Awh man... The first time you said it was competitive I just assumed you were talking about score wise. I didn't know it was because it was a lot of applications
hi =. I am very impressed with your performance on the HESI. congratulations. I also have a 4.0 GPA. I took the HESI and got over 90% on all sections except A&P and critical thinking. I couldnt even get the minimum score on both. My heart was broken. Can you PLEEEEAAASE tell me how you studied for the A&P AND CRITICAL THINKING? What materials did you use. You can also email me at [email protected]. I will really appreciate your help. thank you
