2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls

Published

Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough. :sorry: :down:

@Mattk that's an amazing score!!

@Mattk what is your first choice???

Thank you so much!! I'm so excited and nervous about getting in!

Tomball was my first choice followed by Montgomery.

Good luck!! @Mattk we are all nervous!! I pray we get in!

@Mattk. Believe me if I were you I will be very excited because your score is probably one of the highest. Please we all cross finger to get in... Congratulations in advance

Good afternoon everyone! 1 more day and the application period is over! Anxious, to say the least. I applied for Tomball as #1 Choice Cy-fair as 2, North Harris #3 and Montgomery as 4! Fingers crossed to get in somewhere :) Overall score was 7.52- Scored 88.8 on Hesi, with 880 CT and overall GPA of 3.875 and 4.0 in Pre-Reqs :) Best of luck to all of you, I hope we all get in.

Today is the last day!!!

@gee2017 my score was a 7.586..luckily NH accepts around 150 students! Someone said that for the Spring semester the cutoff for NH was 6.9 and Cyfair was 7.4

Do either of you remember what number you were on the sign in sheet the day you applied?

@Mrsguillory sadly I do not! I submitted my application at the beginning of this month

today was the last day ... now the waiting period starts .... Good luck

I applied, submitted on Thursday last week to Tomball as my first choice (followed by North Harris, Cy Fair, and Montgomery). I had a 7.68 and 940 on the CT. I'm wondering how it will work as my A&P score on the HESI was just over passing. Does anyone know how they actually do selection?
