Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
Ok so I be been studying for 2 months to get my hesi score up. I finally took it again yesterday. I passed all everything except for math. 2nd time failing the math section. My score was 69. I cried as soon as I got to my car. I want this so bad!!!!! Well that being said I have one more chance to take the Hesi before the Sept 1 deadline. Pray for me please!!! Thank you future nurses. Good luck with your admission. I'll keep everyone posted on my journey

I know exactly what you're going through, I took the Hesi last month and did not pass the A&P section. Mind you I only studied for two weeks and have not completed A&P I or II yet. I am rescheduled to take the exam on June 24 and I'm praying to God that I pass all of the sections! Also, I am taking A&P I and II this summer
I retook the Hesi last week and did ok on every section except for the A&P section. Although I scored higher the second time around, it was still not high enough to apply for the program. I plan on retaking it for a third time after I complete A&P II. Third time will either be a charm or three strikes your out. I am worried they will not consider my app due to me having to take the Hesi three times just to pass one section. My stats are as follows:
Math 84%
Reading 82%
Grammar 88%
Vocab 88%
A&P 64% (36% on the first attempt)
Critical Thinking 890

I also wanted to inform everyone that even though you will only be getting an Associate Degree in Nursing from this program, when you get a job as an RN, most of the time the hospital you work at will reimburse your tuition for your Bachelors degree (it's basically free!).
