Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
I got a overall of 74% the first test I did was a&p. I didn't study at all. I failed the first test and that really bummed me out and couldn't concentrate on the rest. I finished but the entire time I was so upset. I'm over it now. I've been studying and realized I missed so many questions that I could've answered correctly if I would've just thought them thru.
Hey guys! I am hoping to apply this July to both Cyfair and kingwood with Cyfair being my first choice. I have an A in English but made a c in A&p 1, I had a first year professor that did not know what he was doing, I am retaking it this coming summer session with a good professor so hopefully I will make an A. Also I haven't taken my hesi, but I bought a bunch of books and flash cards and apps to help me. If anyone is located in the cypress/Tomball area and needs a study buddy for the hesi please don't hesitate to email me and we can set up a study date. Also I'll be applying for the UTMB summer start which opens on August 1st and I need to study for the TEas v so again anyone need a study buddy for that contact me.

Im applying to Kingwood lone Star nursing program. I'm re-taking English to get an A. If I get an A in English, my HESI score will be 7.616. I have an A in A&P also. I too am concerned I might not get in at the Kingwood campus. I live in Kingwood, am a single mother of two with one being autistic. I REALLY need to be at the Kingwood campus in January!!

Hello everyone, I plan to apply to UTHSC, TWU, UTA, Lone Star, and HCC after I finish my pre-reqs this fall. I attempted to take the Hesi and Teas test but did not score as high as I wanted to. I plan on retaking both exams eventually before applying to the programs. I have attended three colleges throughout my college career and do not have the best GPA at two of them. The school I am currently attending my stats are as follows:
Overall GPA: 2.5
Pre-Req GPA: 3.5
Science GPA: 4.0
Hello! Sorry for the delay.
The program is 4 semesters long. If you start Jan 2017, you will graduate Dec 2018. However, you can take your fourth semester over the summer and graduate in August instead of December. I am currently taking my fourth semester right now, and will graduate in August.
