Hi! I looked for a topic on students who applied for/ were accepted into LIU Brooklyn starting fall of 2020 and couldn't find anything. I applied about a month ago and I just wanted to start a thread so we can all chat about it!

@ brxu how was your prerequisites like and your grades do you think they’re strict on that before accepting you?

@soolee were you able to get in contact with anyone? I'm so stressed as well. I got accepted and even paid the deposit. I spoke with the advisor and she never responds to any of my emails. I emailed --------------------.

@brxu around how much is the tuition for the first semester? and also did anyone get their financial package yet?

@ny25 I have only been able to get in contact with ---------------------- for now and thats about it noone else wants to respond.

@Akua I reviewed with someone from the admissions office and they were very lenient with one of my pre-requisites since it was lower than what they expected but they still accepted it! It was very nice of them.

@soolee A year's tuition is around 35k!

girl I spoke with a lady today and she told me first semester is 20 k and another nursing student told me the same! I thought it was 35k also but apparently its different for the nursing school. im so stressed and anxious

girl I spoke to ------------------------- shes part of the nursing department and she said its 20k per semester and then another nursing student whose ahead of us said that its true too so im stressed now

yup! I feel lied to because the school website said something else I just don't know how im going to pay so much I didn't know it would be this much
