Has anyone else here been accepted into the ABSN at LIU Brooklyn for 2020? I was accepted but I’m having a difficult time figuring out my next steps because I wasn’t sent a welcome packet. Anyone having a similar experience?

Thank you! Was it hard to get in? I hear they aren’t that competitive. I’m looking to apply for the fall semester
I’m graduating from LIU Post this Spring with my bachelors in health sciences. Looking to stay within the LIU system and continue my education at Brooklyn ? I’m looking for any advice! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
@bbbbri This program is pretty easy to get into compare to other programs. No entrance test, no interview. Except the tuition is high ?
Does anyone know exactly how much the accelerated program is? Also, I looked into payment, buying scr ubs and textbooks but can’t find any info on that
I heard people who is in the program says that the tuition for the first semester is around 20k. @Amanda did you buy the health assessment kit? The paper that my advisor gave to me did not ask me to buy it. However, I saw the school website ask us to buy it.

I haven’t purchased anything I haven’t spoken to any advisors yet
I can tell you both that you need the stuff in the health assessment kit for your first semester. Specifically the scrubs, the stethoscope and the bp cuff. Buy the scrubs ASAP as they take WEEKS to come in. All the information you need will be given to you at orientation. The student handbook is only accessible through blackboard AFTER orientation. First semester is 22grand if you get insurance through the school, 20 if not. All together the accelerated is roughly 70k. Don’t skip out on orientation.
@khalidak Thank you for sharing the information with us~I went to the admission office before, a girl in the office told me the payment will be available on May 1st and I assume that is the reason we did not see the exactly amount we need to pay on student center.
I attached the checklist for new student that my advisor gave to me. I hope it can help your guys~
Does anyone know how to log on to Blackboard?
