LIU Brooklyn ABSN FALL 2021

Cannot seem to find a thread for LIU Brooklyn for the Fall of 2021. Decided to make a thread to hopefully find some other students applying to LIU for this upcoming fall to hopefully share and discuss any updates and encourage each other through the process of waiting for a decision! ?

I Just finished submitting my application for accelerated Fall 2021. Will they contact me or will my application update and request my transcripts? I am confused given this application was so simple and did not ask for much. I am completing my last pre-req's this semester (done by May). I have a bachelor's degree and my pre-req stats are;
Essentials of CHEM: A-

w/ CHEM Lab: A

(also took general Chemistry: A-)

A&P 1: A

A&P 2: A-

Nutrition: A

Human development Psych: A

STAT - Pending

Microbiology- Pending

I hope my grades are enough to get me in. My first-degree GPA wasn't the best but not the worse however my current post bacc GPA is 3.6. I really pray I am given an opportunity.

Does anybody which BIO they accept? Does it have to be BIO I or II? I tried reaching out to admissions months ago for an answer but no response...

I spoke to admissions today & I was told if you already have a bachelor's degree, the HS transcripts requirement might be waved. An HS diploma with a date as well as college transcripts from complete degree programs would suffice.

A&P 1 & 2 with labs

High school diploma is just for the financial aid so don't mind it too much

Yes, they told me the same over the phone. However, I keep receiving a email from an admissions director asking for a high school transcript. I’m just confused because I have a degree and I submitted my college transcripts.

I'll be picking up my old HS transcript in person for another program as well so if you're saying they keep harassing you for it, I guess I'll pick up an extra for LIU as well. I was confused with those admission emails too. Perhaps they are generic emails? It is very confusing for sure ?

Hi everyone, woke up to an acceptance this morning! I applied with 9/10 pre reqs.. already took A&P 1&2, Microbio... the only bio I didn’t have was general bio that I have to take this Summer, so as of right now basically in for the traditional nursing program until then. Was anyone aware that gen bio is a requirement?

I received the same email over and over again regarding the hs transcript! I reached out to them a few weeks back but I did already submit it and was still receiving that email. They told me it’s automated and to ignore it.

wow! no, I had no idea this was a requirement. I never saw this on their site. Can you share what they told you as far as this requirement went? and congratulations!!

I was aware , that's why I took it this semester.
