LIU Brooklyn ABSN FALL 2021

Hey everyone, was just wondering if anyone received anything about the actual program like a handbook maybe? I was able to register for classes (traditional program not accelerated)... still currently taking the classes they made me retake right now and one more class to go in the second session of this Summer semester... regardless they allowed me to register for classes about a month ago so I am enrolled in the fall semester.. still seems kind of silly considering the fact that I was able to enroll but still have to retake courses this Summer (literally from a b- to a b....) Also was wondering if anyone was able to speak to anyone in regards to loans to get some more info.. this would be my first time taking out a loan for school and I'm quite confused. If anyone has some insight on who to contact for loan help/questions that would be great!

Hello I was accepted to the traditional transfer program in March but pushed back my start date since I had to make up classes. I was recently accepted to the university of Miami ABSN program and have to make a decision. Is anyone currently attending the LIU program and willing to share there experience/cost of attendance?

Hi! I have a quick question I am trying to apply for the Summer 2022 program and wasn't able to find a deadline on the website and I am confused by the application process and was surprised it wasn't on NursingCAS or something similar. The LIU Brooklyn application from the website seems very vague and didn't ask me for any transcripts, recommendations, essays, or anything. Is there a different application somewhere that I am missing?

Hi everyone,

I was just accepted to the accelerated bachelor's in nursing program at LIU Brooklyn. I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to share their experience in the program so far? It's difficult to find any first-person reviews of the nursing program online.

Here's a few questions: Do you like your professors? Do you feel that they are thorough and patient when explaining the information? Do you feel that the professors support you in the learning experience? Do most students stay in the program? Have you noticed many people quit the program? Do you feel well prepared to take the NCLEX based on all you have learned in nursing school? I recognize that everyone needs to prepare separately for the NCLEX, but I would still like to hear your thoughts on the school's role in your preparation!
