Littmann color question

I'm getting a stethoscope for my first semester in nursing school. At first I thought about getting the pearl pink, but I don't think I want to stick out that much. :lol2: The next best one (to me) is the seafoam green... there's just one problem-- most websites show a different color, and I'm not sure what it actually looks like. Can anyone tell me if it looks like this or this?

I'm hoping it looks like the second picture. If not, does anyone really like the pearl pink? Or, does anyone have any suggestions for a color that would go better with a red and white uniform?

It definitely looks more like the second picture.

...I'm curious though, if your uniform is red and white, why do you want to add green?

Whatever color you choose be careful with your scope. Littmans are popular for theft.

Thank you for answering. :) I didn't really think about my uniform when I was looking at the colors. The green is just the one that looks nicest to me (green is my favorite color). That's why I also asked what color would go best with the uniform. I was afraid I'd look a little Christmasy, and I definitely don't want black, so I really have no idea what would look nice. :lol2:

You should choose whichever color makes you happy :). I don't think a stethoscope is an accessory that needs to be color coordinated to your outfit ;).

FWIW, the second color is what I would hope seafoam would be, too.

I understand. I got a lilac scope since purple is my favorite color, I think it's pretty, and it's not one of those colors that everyone has but isn't super out there either.

I semi agree with this. I can't stand it when things clash or look like Christmas, Easter etc. unless it's that time of year, but a perfect match for something like a stethoscope isn't necessary.

Mine doesn't match seeing as we have white tops and Caribbean blue pants, but it goes fine, plus, you never see them together unless my scope is in use since my scope stays in my pocket when I'm not using it.

I really like the "Plum" color and want to buy binaurals in this color. Is anyone familiar with this color and do you think it would be odd for a male to own a steth like this? Navy and Caribbean are my back ups, lol.

I agree I love the seafoam green but was thinking of ordering the burgundy. It is annoying cause the colors look different on different pic's. The only I considered with color is that I want to look professional, cause I kinda liked the orange too but I dont wanna stick out too much.

i'm crushin' on the orange, too.... i've heard it's one of the colors that won't grow legs!!!:lol2:

and i *like* orange. we wear whites and have a dark green arm patch... so i'm thinking "personality" is a plus.
