Littmann Cardiology III Stethoscope

I am about to purchase the all black Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope. However, it only comes in 27'' not 22''. I was just wondering what is everyone's preference? I will begin my nursing program in October. Thanks everyone!

i have had mine for 4 years and love it! I have the 27" that I used all through school and am glad that I did. I have a cheap sprague, a cheap nurse scope, a Littmann Select, and had an ADC 603 (like a Littmann Classic II). I really do like the Cardiology III and can hear everything with it! The distance is good for me and hangs from my neck well. Only problem I have had, is keeping the tubing from getting neck grease on it. Impossible I know, but would be nice :)

even 27 inch is to small at times because the tubing is big one(which is even better for sound) so you wont regret a 27 inch
