OK guys, I just got in to a second degree program BSN at Salisbury University starting this fall 2012. I need one class before I can start, Pathophysiology. So I was able to squeak in to one this spring at SU. Well, I have an instructor that feels that his exams should be challenging(pulling stuff out of the air, ave 74 in class). I know its a 300 level class but so far I have a C. I have gotten A's in ALL my BIO's. So I need a B to enter the program; so the question is? do I take it again this summer with the same instructor at SU and hope for a B, or take it online with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln online at my own pace! Either way its going to cost me 1200.00 again.

Taking it with the same instructor means you at least know what to expect, but if the exam is truly random and the class average is a 73 and not scaled, I would be hesitant to take it again. Normally some previous experience with a prof helps you perform better in the class, but if there is no method to his madness, might be too much of a risk to try it again.

I would think if the average class grade was a C, the university wouldn't be too thrilled with this guy.

I say you take it with the same instructor because you will know what to expect the next time around.

I think you are right, Now the evil you have.... Hopefully the class is available in the summer, I over heard him talking to another student about the summer class, and that they have to drop some of the information due to it's class length.

Thanks, Yes At least I have an Idea what type of questions he asks...

I'm so impressed that the two replies are from males, In this Patho class there are 135 students and only 10 are males, and half of them are not RN students... Brian who do you like being a CNA, thought I would take a part-time job as one while in school...
