Hi all, could anyone direct me to a website where I can find information and guidelines as to how to write a literature for submission. I have written many literature reviews but not written any for submission. I am on my last leg to finishing my Masters and my last unit requires me to write a literature for submission. I have chosen to write on VTE (venous thrombo embolism). I am a orthopaedic specialist nurse so I will be submitting my litrature to orthopaedics area.. Thanks so much :).....

I saw something the other day about this topic on this site, but do not know where. Did you google it already? Maybe it is in the student section.
Thanks Sandi, no worries I will have a look on student section. :)...

Just going through this myself so maybe I can help!
First, pick out the journal to which you would like to submit your morificecript. Look at previous articles that have been published to make sure that the journal accepts the sort of morificecript you're writing as well as to ensure that they haven't published anything too similar in the recent past.
Second, go to the publisher's website. The guidelines for any journal published by a particular company (e.g., Slack) should be on the website. The guidelines will tell you how to format your article, how many pages, how to handle references, tables, and figures.
Marilyn Oermann has an excellent book entitled Writing for Publication in Nursing (2nd ed.) You can also do a CINAHL search for "writing for publication" and should be able to find some articles. Here are a couple of articles that might be helpful to you:

Best wishes to you. I am finishing up my paper and it's been a long haul.....
