Good Afternoon. I want to reinforce my assessment skills, therefore I will purchase a video series. I only know of two autors: 1. Lippincott and 2. Mosby. Does anyone know which one is more prestigious? or do you know of a better vieo series?? Thank you very much, and happy new year s :)

they both are very good, I have a bias towards Mosby.....but it is only subjective.

Nursing magazine put out a "Skill series" which is published by Mosby, you might be able to google this. I found their skillbooks extremely helpful---there is one Total Assessment in 3 minutes---which really narrows it down to the nitty gritty. Also, the "dummy" series may have something on assessments. There are also books just on Physical Assessment that have diagrams of the systems being assessed and stethoscope skills etc.
thank you very much for the input

I give them both a thumbs up. I used their study tools to prepare for and pass the NCLEX.
