Linfield 2014 Spring Start Date

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone else out there has applied to the Linfield Good Samaritan School of Nursing for the spring 2014 start date? Today is the deadline to apply, and I haven't seen a thread on this topic yet, so I thought I would start one! I am both nervous and excited for when October rolls around (aka when the admission decision letters will be mailed), so I figured we can all share updates on this thread.

So who else applied? Was this your first time applying to nursing school? What was your gpa (if you don't mind me asking)? Is anyone else as nervous and excited as I am? :)

    It will be a long wait! I had applied a while back to OHSU and Linfield, but took a year to gain work experience and raise my prereq gpa. By my own calculations I had a prereq gpa of about 3.8, but NursingCAS gpa in the sciences was about 3.4! This made me pretty nervous, but not much to do about it now..

    My advisor told me that nursing CAS calculates your GPA differently and not to go by that. I applied for spring 2014 back in June and letters will be mailed the week of the 14th. So nervous!! Good luck to you all!!!
