  1. Hello- I also applied for the Spring 14' start date. I think we should be hearing any day now. Wishing you both the best of luck!
  2. Ah....ok. That makes more sense. I will most likely apply again if I don't do an RT-RN bridge. A year seems so far away.
  3. On FB it says "If you have a bachelor's degree and plan to apply for Summer 2013, all 56 available positions will be filled by our applicants." And if you read the thread on that post it says "The summer start (accelerated program for people with bachelors) will still be filled by new applicants this next application cycle. (56 seats)" Did I mis-interpret this? I read it as if you have bachelors degree then you can apply.
  4. I didn't get in either Sartorius1 so you are not alone. I already knew I wasn't going to get in this application cycle so it wasn't a big surprise. The advisor at Linfield told me I was on track for next Summer, BUT I don't have a bachelors degree so I can't even apply. Hang in there. You WILL get in!! Oh....the respiratory system! Now we are taking.....that is my specialty
  5. oopsy! Duplicated post.
  6. It's my first time applying too. I'm looking into CCs now, but am feeling pretty discouraged. I really don't want to have to re-take classes I got a B in, but it looks like I might have to in order to be competitive. What do you do at the hospital? I'm a respiratory therapist, but I don't get any extra points for that other than having a degree.
  7. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I'm near Corvallis and I didn't get a letter either. Sartorius1-have you applied at other schools besides Linfield? I'm debating doing a bridge program but I'm worried about the lack of clinical time. Do you work in health care now?
  9. I didn't receive a letter yet either. I too have horse and buggy email :) I am not expecting to get in this cohort though. I didn't have a perfect 4.0! Sending good thoughts to the three of you!!!
  10. Hang in there ladies.....I am sure you will get GREAT news tomorrow :)
  11. I saw the FB post too. My heart sank when I read it
  12. Hello- I am and RT and am just starting the program. Health and Safety will be my first test. I am excited to do the program, but I am a bit worried about not having any clinicals.
  13. I am in the same boat as many of you. It seems like they scored the essays differently this year. Has anyone hear yay or nay yet? Good luck to those that applied for Fall term!
