Linfield ABSN Summer 2021

Hi there,

I didn't see a forum for Linfield ABSN Summer 2021 so thought I would start one! Any others out there? I am super excited about this program so my fingers are crossed. I know it is pretty competitive.

We have until May 1st. But, we have information sessions for compliance before then. So, I would imagine that people will make their decisions sooner than later. Good luck!

Thanks! I'm definitely so happy and grateful for getting in. It's just a wild ride. I'm also from the east coast so it would have been amazing to experience the pacific northwest, but oh well. Not part of the plan for right now I guess! Best of luck to you ❤️

I found their Portland campus academic calendar that says orientation is on June 4th and first day of class is on June 7th! Not sure if that is 100% accurate but here is the link : https://www.linfield.edu/academics/academic-calendars/portland-campus.html

Has anyone been able to find a sample course schedule for the ABSN program? I'd like to know what classes we will be taking each semester if possible, but I can't seem to find it online

Hi all! I was also offered a spot in the Summer 2021 and am looking forward to meeting you all! Has anyone paid the matriculation fee yet and received more information? I'm anxious to have more info, especially relating to the schedule and tuition. I was able to find the school of nursing student manual for the 2020-2021 school year if anyone else wants to see it: https://inside.linfield.edu/_files/portland/student-nursing-manual-20-21.pdf

@gt31 Congratulations, and looking forward to meeting everyone as well! I think we're supposed to get a financial aid package mailed in three weeks, as per Joanna. I just checked the portal and there is now a link to accept the offer and pay the $400 (I'm personally going to wait a bit since we have until May 1st). Also, I'm sure we'll learn more at the "New Student Information Sessions." I signed up for the April 5th one.

Love the idea of a facebook group; I don't personally have facebook but I'm sure others would find this helpful.

Congrats to everyone! I am interested in Applying here from California! Does anyone know if this school is officially accepted by the CA BRN or is anyone planning to get licensed in CA?
