  1. Thanks again for taking the time to offer some kind words to me. These were some very anxious times and your gesture made a difference for the better. YOU are going to be an awesome nurse. :) Take care and good luck to you!
  2. Congratulations on Johns Hopkins! What an accomplishment. I wish you the best.
  3. HA! My thoughts exactly. ? We have until May 1st. But, we have information sessions for compliance before then. So, I would imagine that people will make their decisions sooner than later. Good luck!
  4. Good luck to you! I'm not sure how to accept my offer yet. . . It almost looks like there may be a link missing.
  5. Wooohoo! Congratulations. ?
  6. YAY!! Can't wait to meet you. ?
  7. It's up. I GOT IN!!!
  8. Yes. That's all I can see too. I think when they post the decision, maybe it will show up on that screen?
  9. I wish I knew! I've been up since 4 am. This is rough.
  10. Thanks so much for your kind reply. Positive encouragement always goes a long way. Especially, on this nerve-racking evening before decisions are posted. And, CONGRATULATIONS to you!!! That’s super exciting that you got in. I wish you all the best. ?
  11. Hi there. I was given an interview with OHSU and was rejected with no offer for a spot on the waitlist. I have a 3.8 undergraduate science GPA, a 3.4 non-science, 4.0 graduate GPA (MS in kinesiology with a focus in orthopedic rehabilitation), and a 3.8 pre-requisite GPA. I worked for one year as a PT Aide, and just under 200 hours as a hospital volunteer in the ED. I was also a TA in my school's cadaver lab and worked as a TA for my general Chemistry professor. (I took extra general Chemistry that was not required as a pre-requisite.) I have over 15 years of experience working in post-rehabilitation. I was pretty crushed about not getting into OHSU, but I know that there are just so many good candidates with more clinical experience than me. No matter what, I will keep on moving forward until I get in somewhere. I know I want to be a nurse. No matter what happens tomorrow, I hope we can all stay positive and keep moving forward toward our goals.
  12. Hi there, I haven’t heard anything yet. I relate to your anxiousness. Good luck!
