hi! does anyone know anything about lincoln technical institute's lpn program? It's located ion Mount Laurel, NJ. It's a one year program.

Thanks so much!

I am going to Prism Career Institute in Cherry Hill. It is about 5 minutes from Lincoln Tech. It is a great program, they have loans and grants. If you have questions. There is a waiting list to get in but if you know someone in the program, you will get bumped into the next open spot. If it interests you, send me an email or you can call them and just say you were referred by me. I'm in pn3.

Hi everyone.. I just started the program and yes.. it is expensive but well worth it..

The teachers are OK.. To not name anyone, but some should go back to staff nursing. I read constantly because of the profession, not due to lack of staff.. Good luck to everyone

hello i am currently attending this program and i advise all to stay away!! i wish i was warned about this school prior to its more about the money, they fill clases every 3 months and only have a hand full of teachers, so thats means self study 6 hrs a day

hey

i was just wondering whiv=ch campus did you attend?

hey i also go to the cherry hill campus and i love it there... im in PN6

r u still there?

did u graduate?

ok any advice for me? i jsut started a month ago and its great !!

Hey everyone,I graduated in September and took nclex and passed:yeah: so no matter what I thought the whole time I was at LTI I guess I really did learn more then I thought:bow:.Just Remember to prepare when you finish for nclex, give yourself time with Saunders 3rd edition I think this helped alot so if you buy a book get this one,I also have prentice hall but saunders was an easier read.I would say I defintally have a new respect for those instructors now....:nurse:

Was the program expensive? My daughter may need your name. Could you please tell me more about admission test, program lenght, where you did clinicals, etc. Thanks for any info.

22,000 was the cost,I had no financial help,12 month course and many places for clinicals, would I recommend it NO,would I recommend any LPN program no,go for the RN as Many of us can not find jobs in NJ area.....

Thank you for the information and hopefully she will be accepted into 1 RN program. She has applied to GCC and CCC. Have you heard of the these colleges and their programs. She is a senior in high school now and we are looking in to all options. I thought for a back up she could apply to the local vocational school and adult educaation program. There is always the bridge to RN. What I understand the bridge or challenge eliminates 1 semester foo the RN. Did you go get your RN. That is terrible at Lincoln Tech! $$ I think the local votec is 6 with books and uniform tops. Thanks again!

yeah i agree with most everyone here - DO NOT GO TO LINCOLN TECH unless absolutely necessary... tuition is ridiculous! i just started the edison campus in Dec and it's costing nearly $24k.. i knew this wasnt the school for me b/c of bad prior experience with their med asst program in paramus - none of the teachers there really gave a hoot and you basically had to teach yourself... the only reasons i chose to go here again is b/c of the class schedule, location in proximity between my job and home, and it was at least accredited by the board of nursing.... im just finishing up my first quarter in Edison and so far i think my teachers are great, the only problems SO FAR are the school getting clinical sites.. it seems they had a big problem with that this quarter b/c we started clinical so late and when we did start we only had onsite clinicals one day a wk then lab the next day. (i think the other quarter students didnt get there site either till late).. sucks for us but fortunately 1st quarter clinicals was mostly about the basics... anyway your education is what YOU make to be,, the school just gives the paperwork to back it up.. thats the way i see it anyway...

Hey I start at Lincoln in Mt. Laurel on June 26. Any pointers on what I should do to be ready? Thanks

be prepared to do a whole lot of nothing!!!teach yourself and pay a whole lot of money and that jobs are scarce with no experience, take it from me who graduated last september

I think I'll be starting the same day. I go for financial aid tomorrow. Ill give u advice from being at a different tech school. There is a lot of do it urself work but its all how u make it. Don't slip for 1 second. When school is done, be on top of getting a job on your own.
