i wanted to start a thread for applicants for 2011 lichson, ill like to hear your process and just be there for all and go through the wait together. :clown: i know that hard parts are over with just the gruesome part is here WAITING! hope there some ppl out there going through the same thing as i

@ CeceStar5, when you say PBISON is more respected than LICHSON do you mean the school experience or the quality of nurses they turn out? I've read alot about the school experience at LICHSON (which doesn't really discourage me) but I haven't heard much about the later. Just curious.

What i meant is the difference in funding, prestige, and the students experiences. I have personally talk to many of LICHSON and PBISON students (bcause I work in both hospitals) I got mostly bad reviews from the LICHSON students. But I think its what you make of the whole experience. I am not going to make what others say discourage me from getting what I want.

Yes, i've heard the same. And i take the same view on things. I'll make the most out of any opportunity i'm given. It's good to know that there's no realy disparity in how prepared the nurses are between the 2 schools. lots of luck to you!

I called and ask the status of my application and they said its under review.... I don't like to be lead on or have false hope... I feel like the call 5 ppl a day

Pumeleme did you have your interview yet? how did it go? i'm waiting for this week to pass, they said they'd decide in 2 weeks when i was there. i guess i'll call after that.

i'm finishing up A&P II and will start micro in a few weeks. that's how i keep my mind off of the wait! here's to keeping the mind preoccupied :)

hi fleajones,

I had my interview yesterday, in such wet and gloomy morning... there were only two of us.. scheduled to interviewed by different professors...(who was running one hour late)

However, the atmosphere was pretty warm and welcoming. All standard, 2 page questionnaire, 1 page essay at the end, I think, it went well. Professor is very nice!! all my worries (English is not my native language) thinned in to the air...5o minutes later I was told to wait for results for 2-3 weeks...

i am taking A&P II in June.... you think it will be transferred?
