Curious as to the average length of time for licensure application to process and reach completion? I'm hoping for 3-4 weeks at most.

I'm from San Diego, and started my process mid March. They don't do livescan in Oregon, so make sure you go to a place that has experience doing it on a card. I got rejected twice already and have to go get it done a third time! Frustrating process.

My experience is 60 days, living next door and hand carrying everything in.

Wow, that's a long time to wait! I only waited 3 weeks for my CNA license in WA state (I'm working as a CNA and going to nursing school), but just applied for endorsement into Oregon too. I hope it doesn't take two months!!

Just started the process myself... Hopefully it won't take too long.
Takes about 2 weeks for the background check. Once that is started, it takes about another week for you to get your license. My recommendation is to go to a govenment facility to get your prints done. I went to the UPS store twice and twice it failed. Finally went to a police station and it passed.

Believe or not Oregon is one or the strictest states for licensure. I went to school there and also was licensed there until I went home. When I got home it was like so easy to license. Unbelievable ...

Unfortunately RN endorsement is a tad more complicated process than CNA. I'm sure it wouldn't take 2 months for a CNA endorsement!

I endorsed my license from California to Oregon and it seemed OR process was very quick especially with everything being online and the ability to check the status of each requirement online. The longest waiting period on the part of OSBN was the background check that took about a week and a half. But it was CA who dragged their feet the longest and took 6 weeks to verify my license (even tho they cashed the check after just one week) and they do not take inquries until its been over 8 weeks:banghead:. So in total it was about a 2 month process for endorsement. The CA board website states to expect 6-8wks for processing on their side alone so it's not just the OSBN you're waiting on, check your current state AND original state of licensure boards for wait times as well. Since OR doesn't do livescan there's also the possiblity of having to repeat your fingerprints if they are rejected so I would recommend starting the process ASAP and give yourself some wiggle room, although it would be awesome if it worked out under a month! Funny enough OR no longer issues actual license cards so I was actually licensed 5 days before I even noticed according to their website but since I didn't sign up for email notifications I wasn't even aware. So keep an eye on the website!
