What is the goofy reason or dumb reason why you became a nurse????

Mine is because I get to wear cute uniforms with Charlie Brown or Tigger on them and still be considered an Adult. :chuckle

Also I can buy a new uniform anytime I want and have the excuse that you never have enough of them. I gave this excuse to my husband the other day when I picked out four new uniforms.

For the sexy uniforms...and so I can be privy to everyone "bowel habits"...you ever notice that when people find out your a nurse, you find out way more about them then you EVER wanted to know (OFF duty)...

Oh my stars, so true! When I went in to sign my new lease (looooooong story) my LANDLORD launched into the story of her IBS/possible ulcerative colitis... My roommate (pharmacy major) and I were a bit taken aback.

..... because I always had a fetish for all things medical. Loved the smell of rubbing etoh since I was itty bitty, and all the little bottles, vials, syringes, tubing, neat little jars of cotton swabs...

Used to snitch this stuff from the clinics when I was little, going for my annual check ups. When the doc was filling my mom in and they had their backs turned, I was rummaging through the trash to see what little treasures I could take home with me this time !

And nurses were GODS to me. :)
