Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone is currently enrolled or have completed Lehman College's Nursing program and what their take or experience was like. I'm interested in applying to either Lehman or Hunter, but since they are both CUNY, I can only apply to one of them and I think I would have a better chance of getting into Lehman, but was curious about their program, specifically the generic and accelerated BSN. Thanks!

Nov 20, 2012 I would do Lehman over Hunter since Hunter has become ultra-competitive, not to mention the school of nursing is closed "until further notice" and they've been holding classes on the 5th floor of the library! I'm a Hunter student of several years (nontraditional/part time) and I didn't get into the nursing program with 150 on the NLN, so unless your GPA is higher than a 3.6 and you can score closer to 160 (the adviser at Hunter told me 150 was their starting point for accepting applicants) on the NLN maybe best to skip it?

I know someone in the nursing program at Hunter and she had to take music, english, history and a number of courses that they felt would make her more "well rounded." That's fine if someone doesn't have a degree, but after a degree, the accelerated program should be more focused.

I have been accepted to Lehman College as a second degree student recently and would like to apply to both the BSN and ABSN nursing program (I already have a BS degree). Can students from either program tell me their experience? I may apply for either 2016 or 2017. Thanks
