Hi!
This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!
I reeeeally hope today is the bulk of acceptances. I have someone calling me from CMSV ready to help me set up my schedule for the fall but I’m waiting on lehman because they are so much more affordable and I will most likely graduate with a lot less debt. I know many people from Lehman’s program and basically no ones happy and there favorite quote is “you get what you pay for”! And I this point I’m ready to just invest in my education with something private because whether it’s for the money or not, what they do have is great service especially for a time like this. Keep in mind I’ve been a Lehman student for about 2 years now

I hope so as well. CONGRATS on CMSV✨ I’ve read reviews and they’re a good school, I was thinking of applying, but I didn’t know if they were still accepting. Yeah I’m on the fence just as you are. I was so excited to go into this program, but now I’m skeptical because of what people are saying about it. They also have loan forgiveness programs when you get your RN license so they can cover most or all of your student debt. I was looking into that incase I wanted to go to a different school. It may be a good option for you if we don’t hear back soon enough. Is it too late to apply there?
No it’s not too late. They stop admission in July! So I would encourage you to apply. They even have different criteria for people who couldn’t take the HESI which is wonderful for those who didn’t. And yes honestly it’s not like we would be taking out a loan for a career that wouldn’t be paying us enough to pay it back. There are tons of way to make money as an R.N. My friends sister took out 60k for a private school and payed off her loans within the year because she still lived at home. So anything is possible. Is anyone choosing Lehman over private schools because it’s more affordable ?

It came to both Lehman and personal email. I guess it goes by what you put on application.
WOW! congratulations, so happy for you!!
Around what time did you get the email?
